Hillwalking in Grantown-on-Spey and Cairngorms National Park
Two guests on a blustery New Years day hike on the Cromdale Hills south of Kinross House.

Grant Mausoleum belonging to Clan Grant.
The Grant mausoleum at Duthil a few miles from Kinross House.

Scots Pine above Grantown in the Cairngorms National Park

On the north side of Grantown are the Dreggie Hills. Following the road  up and under the old railway line takes you to a viewpoint where this picture was taken looking south east. Looking south west are great views over the Cairngorms.

Sparse woodland in the Glen Feshie hills.

One of the numerous Scots Pine trees in a typical "forest" location around Speyside.

Ann horse riding around Grantown
A couple of miles south west from Grantown is a great ride / cycle / run up laggen hill. Here you can see the Cairngorms in the background but views of the Cromdale hills and Grantown can also be seen.

Where better to eat a banana?
And remember, you're never far away from a great day out in the hills.
